This place features a modern standard queen room with comfortable beds and a view of the inner courtyard, located centrally and close to the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza.

Good location, cleanliness.
Room and bathroom very small and therefore uncomfortable. Noise from outdoor air conditioners and fans even though the windows were closed. Payment requested at check-in. Extra charge 1 euro for each use safe.

Very nice area quiet and safe between the Puerta del Sol and the Prado. The hotel is clean, running away daily. Personal speaks in English and in Russian.

The hotel was pleasant and fairly clean, its location was magnificent to the craziest bars during the night, great service. The staff were friendly and efficient too...

The location of this hotel was wondeful! It was incredibly easy to get to it after getting off the metro, and to walk from it to the main musueums like the Prado and Thyssen.
Just a warning to others that, being that it is in an older building, the walls are thin, meaning noise does travel!

Lovely clean hotel. Great central location ideal for the Prado, Reina Sofia, etc. and close to the Puerta del Sol. Comparatively quiet for a Spanish city centre hotel.

I recently stayed at Hostal Oporto in Madrid for a lads trip to watch football. The staff were excellent, the location was fantastic, and the facilities were cheap and cheerful. It was great value for money and I highly recommend it if you just need somewhere to rest in a great location.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Wireless internet, good choice of TV channels, air conditioning, quiet room at back of the building, location of the hotel in a quiet street yet very close to central area.
Single room had a double bed - a single bed would have left a bit more space to move around.

Good relation between price-location-comfort. I do not have any remarks, we have got what we were looking for. Excellant for short visit to Madrid and its surroundings.
